Operations Manager

Position Summary

As the Operations Manager, you will work with the Operations and Sales team to accurately maintain physical inventory levels, manage the inventory ordering process, as well as help manage the ongoing maintenance, build-out, quality control (QC) and issue resolution of our corporate clients web stores.

 

Major Responsibilities

1.  Inventory Management

Monitor inventory levels and reorder quantities
Generate and monitor reports (low stock reports, orders in progress, inventory velocity reports)
Discuss inventory levels with account management teams, using strong communication skills to demonstrate knowledge of inventory position for their clients.

 

2.  Order Process Management

Manage the ordering process for inventory for multiple web stores.
Prepare inventory re-orders
Process inventory re-orders, ensuring timely shipping
Ensue accurate and timely delivery of all inventory orders through knowledge of client profiles and vendor policies.
Issue resolution for any order discrepancies

 

3.  eCommerce Site Administration

Managing and maintaining our corporate client web stores to include product build-out, user setup and ongoing testing and maintenance within our open sourced platform, Magento.
Completing sales submitted tickets for ongoing site maintenance and updates
Building products for current stores and new stores
Drive Quality Control (QC) for all web stores.

 

4.  Additional Responsibilities

Providing reports generated via Accounting and the store platform, Magento, to Sales

 

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree required
Minimum of 1 years of eCommerce experience
Preferred to have experience with eCommerce platforms, such as Magento, BigCommerce, NOPCommerce, Shopify, etc.
Working knowledge of project management applications, and proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Effective project management skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
High energy / can do attitude.
